Pro-Motion is a backlit sign that displays as
many as 25 individual Ads, called images or frames in
a single sign. The images are printed on a polyester
scroll and then attached to a scrolling spool system
that displays each image for a customer-determined amount
of time that is easily set using the scrolling system
controller. Images can be advanced consecutively in
both scroll directions, or they can be displayed consecutively
and rewound to the beginning and displayed again and
again.
Pro-Motion Scroll Media Information: Scrolls
can be produced on many manufacturers translucent backlit
media using inkjet, electrostatic, or photographic output.
However, some media brands and types are better than
others. Check with Diazit to make sure your media
conforms to the specifications required for these displays.
DiAZiT can arrange to produce your Pro-Motion
scrolls, including artwork. Through arrangement with
Motion Graphics Two LLC we can do it all for you from
art to printing and guarantee the results will work.
Don't waste time with someone who "thinks"
they can do it. We do it every day.
Art specifications
are available to assist with image preparation. Need
help to add an image? Our Speedy
Splicer makes short work of fast, accurate, long-lasting
splices. It handles media up to 36" wide working
right from the scroll rollers as you take them out of
the sign. Contact Sales for more information. Usually
available from stock.
Scroll Information: A Pro-Motion scroll
can hold as many as 25 images. The maximum capacity
of frames depends upon the thickness of media and the
type of printing process used. For example, the A2 scrolling
display sign can accommodate up to 18 frames when using
an inkjet output on 4-mil polyester film. Frames may
be printed in a continuous scroll for a smooth transition
from frame to frame. They may also be printed individually
and joined together with a transparent tape or with
Diazit's zipper tape. Maximum media thickness must not
exceed 6 mil.(.006")/ 0.15mm. Consult DiAZiT
for important information about scroll material and
printing.
Display Information: Pro-Motion displays
are equipped with an internal controller that allows
the display time for the frames to be adjusted. There
are also manual controls that allow the frames to be
displayed in a static position if desired. An optional
remote control is available for even more flexibility.
Backlight Information: Pro-Motion scrolling
display signs use fluorescent lamps that are readily
available from DiAZiT.
Tri-Motion Information
Display Information: Diazit's new Tri-Motion
Scrolling display is different than the other display
models. It features a three image "pocket-scroll"
design that scrolls in one direction continuously, stopping
at each individual image for a duration of from 3 seconds
up to 22 seconds. The continuous loop design allows
a simpler design resulting in greater reliability and
ease of use with the advantage of scrolling image attraction.
Scroll Information: The Tri-Motion utilizes
individual images that can be printed on backlit material
using less expensive wide body printers instead of the
Large Format printers required to print the images for
the Pro-Motion. Each image is then placed in the scroll
pocket and can be changed out by simply opening the
door and sliding the old image out and the new one in.
It's as simple as that. For even more savings, print
the images yourself using your own printer and media.
